The stripers are back
my ramp in beverly is where I launched to access salem harbor.
in the canoe I caught 1 striper on the green lure.

go for a ride

sunday the rain was coming down hard. way to hard to enjoy fishing, so I took a ride to salem harbor to check out the waters for this seasons boating. I was there several weeks back to check out a boat launch.this time the tide was in,a whole different world.

the weather was super with little wind.

Nashua river I took

vacation thursday quessing that everybody was going friday . I was the only one on the river all day . I caught 5 bass and a pickerel with the biggest bass being 3 lbs.

If you have never been to the nashua it winds like a snake with an oxbow or

slough of the end of each corner. I fish the section rte 119 to the Pepperel dam.

CONCORD RIVER PIKE

On the section of the river that I was fishing, rte 225 to rte 4. there was only one other person on the river.

Northern pike fishing was the plan and I got pike. Pike have the same body type but the pattern is different. The pike from the concord have a beautiful color ,on the their back is red and gold spotson an olive background. The top picture is a pike and the bottom is of a pickerel.
